Hopefully Zaki stays at the JJB for a bit rather than rotting on the pine somewhere else. Good comparison of Zaki to a fit Louis Saha.

Have to agree with everything the Gaffer wrote in this blog, but I hate to see players leave Wigan as they never do very well. Examples: Pascal Chimbonda, Leighton Baines, Jason Roberts, Jimmy Bullard, Henri Camara all went looking for greener patures, but had their best performances at the JJB.

But money rules and players move on.

Zaki looks very good, but he plays in front of a wonderfully balanced midfield and defenders that play out of their skins. Not to mention the mystery man, Emile Heskey, who seems to create space for every striker is partnered with.

Not sure Zaki would look so good at Tottenham.

(Thanks for mentioning the Fulham ManU match of some years back.. that was a wonderful game, as well as the end of Saha.)
