Good call-in show! I liked it when the moderator mixed Kansas up with Ohio. Hee hee. I also liked your take on Landon Donovan, his past, and his size, etc.

Hopefully you will find a regular spot with the BBC. The World Football show on 5 Live is simply the best. Maybe you can talk the BBC into having you as a regular commentator on the Prem from America. It would make great use of your talent and the work you have done on this website.

Good god Chris except I respectfully disagree on Landon Donovan. How big was Juninho and he was successful in the Premier League? Do you think Romario would have failed in the PL also? Donovan’s stamina and fitness level are as good as any player in the world. We saw that in the 10 v 9 game vs Italy in the World Cup. As the World Champions had players about to drop dead, Landon was running at them making their tired legs defend.

    Otherwise, great job.

Good job Chris is what I mean, not good god. Oh good god how the theme changes with that transposing of letters! Aye, slow down next time when you type, Kartik.

    EPLNFL,

Thanks for the kind words. It’s probably going to be a one-time appearance especially with Sean Wheelock returning again, but I’d love to do the show again given the opportunity.

Answering questions off the cuff in a live show where you have no idea what topic will be covered was definitely exciting.

    Cheers,
    The Gaffer
