If it kept to the Euro calendar, it would have to compete not only with the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga, etc. in the US market, but also NFL, college football, college basketball, NBA, and NHL. <br/><br/>To remain as visible and viable as possible it has to keep to that schedule.
