What does Arshavin and Fabregas have in commen, you tool?!? You'd better read some info about Arshavin and the positions he plays!! Wenger is preparing him to be winger/second striker and NOT a central midfielder, which Arshavin NEVER was and NEVER would be!

At this time the best bet is that Arshavin will play as right winger/midfielder ahead of Eboue in the absence of Walcott and he'll bring much needed speed and width to the team..

You are a moron, your football IQ is equal to that of Forrest Gump,
and i should apologize to the frictional character to compare you to him.
Arshavin and fabregas doesn't play the same position you retard.
he is more of a second striker/ and possibly a winger.
But hey I will just make sure not to visit your site again i just lost a few brain cell idiot.

What I find funny is the fact that you two don't get it. Wenger wouldn't even be bothering with Arshavin if Fabregas didn't get hurt. So yes the two are related.

And Jay, if this was MY site, your comment would have been pulled. If you can't state your position without the need for personal insults, do yourself a favor and not open your mouth at all.

Despite the poor grace of the first two comments, their observation remains accurate: the idea that Arsenal have too many midfield talents to accommodate Arshavin is frankly silly. And that Wenger wouldn't even be bothering with Arshavin if Fabregas didn't get hurt speaks poorly of Wenger's judgment. Does Arsene want to remain in the Big 4, competing for the title every year as well as the CL? Then he's going to need another striker, another midfielder, and at least one more defender *in addition to* the players he already has.

I think the impending sale of West Ham makes them an easy target for rumours. I don't think you'll see Davenport or Etherington move but one of the higher salaried players like Bellamy might move just to get the wages under control. What is the story going around…that they are spending a million pounds per month on salary?

Well…I still don't understand it but looks like I was completely off-base about Etherington. He is poised for a move to Stoke. It has to be a money-driven move for both West Ham and Etherington. It doesn't make sense from any other standpoint.
