The Gaffer came across as informed and enthusiastic, explaining clearly the uniqueness of the website/podcasts but unfortunately the interview was spoilt by the ‘walrus on crack’ Rhod Sharpe who seemed to feign surprise at most of the answers and failed palpably to develop it into anything like a footballing conversation. A disgrace that he is working for Radio FiveLive, (albeit on the night shift) supposedly a news & sport channel, when he knows bugger all about and has absolutely no interest in football or any other sport! Ironic really since there has been so much bashing recently of the ignorant ESPN/ABC World Cup announcers in the US!
