Would you expect anything else from someone who would make such a disgusting and cowardly tackle?

He is complete scum and if, god forbid, he ever returns to the Emirates he will get the reception he deserves as a vicious, talentless hacker.

HE WILL ALWAYS BE THE BUTCHER OF BIRMINGHAM.

Harry, I think Taylor is saying what he is lying through his teeth just to ease his conscious.

“But for Eduardo almost a year to again say that he has yet to receive a formal apology directly from Martin Taylor just doesn’t make sense to me.”

Sun reporter: “Eduardo, did you ever get a formal apology from Martin Taylor?”

    Eduardo: “No.”

I think the horror tackle will still haunt him unless there is psychology treatment is given to him.

Give over, it was clearly accidental. Anyone who thinks Taylor deliberately injured Eduardo has clearly not played the game at any level. Eduardo was too fast for him and he missed the ball.
He should have apologised though, no excuse for that.

This article, from a year ago, gives some interesting insight into Taylor’s perspective of the incident:

“still haunts him”? I think scoring 2 goals in front of the Emirates crowd against Cardiff killed off any demons left from the tackle. Eduardo is a force, and it will CLEARLY take a lot more than an freak injury to scare him away from football. Go Arsenal.

accidental tackle, but eduardo deserves an apology. there is no excuse to not say sorry for the harsh tackle. it doesnt hurt to say sorry. thats all we’re asking him to do. atleast do it in the papers if not face to face. and be done with it and move on.

I agree, an apology costs nothing and would be the least Eduardo deserves.
