A photograph has been leaked of what seemingly is Chelsea’s third jersey for the 2010-11 season.
Designed and manufactured by Adidas, Chelsea’s new third kit features a unique design that can best be described as a mixture of fluorescent blue and tartan (apologies to Scottish readers). I admit that the shirt looks an awful lot like a goalkeeper jersey, especially with the black shoulder sections of the shirt looking like shoulder pads, but why would keepers need shoulder pads? Elbow pads would be far more important.
The shirt’s bright colors also remind me of Tron, the movie, as it definitely looks very much like science fiction.

Its preferred the 1994/1995 away shirt personally, that was some sexy sportswear.
It’s probably the 3rd kit…the orange GK kit is being reused, I think.
Actually I take this back. Now that we know the Away kit is black, this is a fake IMO.
I’ll have to give it some time when I first saw 09/10 third jersey I didn’t like it, but damn if they were going for a gaelic look they might have wanted to talk to the Irish or the Scots about that.
Lookout! Laser discs will be thrown around the bridge next season! I can only hope that the back line wears cyclops sunglasses as well to instil additional tron like fear into our visitors!!!!!!
I’m a Chelsea fan and that 3rd shirt stinks.
I liked the movie Tron, and the remake is coming soon, but that jersey is ugly.

I think without all of the crosshatch lines everwhere it’s a pretty sweet shirt. Definitely very Tron inspired.

From a club that changes their HOME shirt every year, does it really matter? It’s a flipping 3rd shirt, how often did they wear last season’s 3rd strip?
It’s amazing how schizophrenic people can be. When manufacturers make simple shirts, it’s “too boring” ” too retro”. When they give the teenagers what they want – the zig-zags, neon stripes, and the sparkles, that too is a problem. What does it matter, they’ll have another shirt next season that they will hardly ever wear.
Definitely the goalkeepers jersey.

Believe me that’s not a new chelsea jersey…don’t get me wrong I hate the scum as much as the next man…but look at the other 3 lotto jerseys in the picture, this is somebody, usually in thailand, knocking up fake mock-ups of random jerseys and sticking the badges on. All to create a bit of hoo-hah, get a few site visits and maybe get a some sales off a few mugs on the hol’s before the season starts, it’s just an unfortunate conincidence that they were doing the dishes while making this one.

Take it from me and don’t worry, this shirt is a fake. There are several telltale signs. Even the Premier League badge is a fake! The 2nd shirt is black plus orange anyway.

I have always felt that teams change their kit far to often, and at on average 45 quid per shirt with 3 to get its not cheap for dedicated fans to keep up. normally the changes to a shirt are minimal. why not introducea scheme where by if you by all 3 kits you get a discount, this should encourage fans to by all the kits. this third kit of chelseas if it is this shirt is bloody aweful. i think the design is cheap looking and i agree it does look like a goal keepers shirt. think again chelsea.
right but the lines are not blue they are orange i got the orange one which is the right one
