Guarantee you that Spurs won't finish in the top six Spursfan.

Have you not watched Villa, Pompey, and Everton play this year?? Spurs may be a top-10 side and I think they are a better team than Reading and West Ham, but I'm not sure they can finish ahead of Blackburn or City.

I picked Spurs to finish 4th this season but as usual, their back line has let them down and to be honest, their midfield is not nearly as good as I thought they'd be.

No team in the top six boasts the quality of players Spurs have? Really? Spurs are level on terms with Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea, and Liverpool in terms of talent? I think not. Maybe one or two Spurs players would be in one of their Starting XI's

What I assume you meant is that they are comparable with Everton and Man City and therefore could break into the top six.

In terms of talent going forward, you may have a point. However, both of those clubs have exactly what keeps Spurs from competing, a solid back four and a superb creative midfielder (Elano or Arteta).

Spurs are currently 12 pts out of 6th place and would have to leapfrog 7 teams to get there. Quite honestly, Derby has an easier task climbing out of the relegation zone.

My sense is that Spurs have given up on the league. They will do well enough to stay up and throw their weight into the cup competitions.

He is there because he is under contract. I think the team is coming alive. They will finish the season in the top six. No team in the top six boosts the quality of players Spurs have. Look at Malbranque's game this past month. The boy is on fire. Lennon's crossing is better and lastly the captain, Ledley King, is back.

I firmly believe that the Tottenham team should give away half of their weekly salaries to Berbatov for the privilege of playing alongside him. He is from another planet, way too good for Tottenham, and the question is : what is he still doing there?
