Eventhough Liverfool has money problems why would they sell Torres to a team within your own league who would make a point of destroying you the two times you meet not to mention to add to a team thats going to win the Premier league year in and year out.

I really don’t see why Chelsea would want him in the first place. Not going to happen. ‘Tis the silly season for rumors.

If Torres is sold, and it looks more likely now that Liverpool are out of the CL, he will go to Barcelona who are interested in him. Barcelona will try to give Liverpool Zlatan Ibrahimovich and cash for Torres. Torres won’t move to another Pl club as he has already stated that the physicality of the PL is why he has had so many injuries recently.

Chelsea, who have two golden boot quality strikers, are going to drop 70 million on a third? Yeah – because that’s where they’re vulnerable. *eyeroll*

The only major Premier League team that would meaningfully want Torres is Manchester United, where there is 0 chance of him moving. Chelsea doesn’t want to pay that much for a selection dilemma, Man City doesn’t want to pay that much for a fifth striker, and Arsenal are never going to drop 70 million on a player.

Give that, if Torres moves – which I doubt he will – it will be abroad.

But look, for all Liverpool’s problems, I don’t think there’s going to be a fire sale this year. Yeah, they need 4-5 good players, and a non-trivial transfer kitty to buy them with. But if they’re getting rid of players, it’s going to come from Riera, Babel, Lucas, and any defender not named Carragher, Skrtel, or Johnson. The only move I can see out of Liverpool is *maybe* Gerrard.
