Sheffield United's Brian Deane of course! Signed from Doncaster Rovers in 1988, Deane went on to score 83 goals in 198 games in his first spell at Bramall Lane and holds the unique achievement for scoring the Premier Leagues first ever goal. Deanes impressive form was soon noticed and he was signed by Leeds in 1993 for a club record 3 million. In 1997 he was brought ack to the blades for a mere half season, 11 goals in 24 games and he was sold again, this time to Graeme Souness Benfica. This heralded the beginning of the journeyman stage in the strikers career that totalled 11 transfers and 9 Clubs. Further to this Deane was re-signed by Sheffield United in the 2005-06 season at the tender age of 38 in what can best be described as a PR stunt, He retired that summer. He also had a second spell at Leeds United in 2004.

Peter Crouch is on his second stint with Pompey.

And don't get mad about all the Spurs articles if you don't like Spurs, because this season the more they wrote about them the more Spurs form has dipped. Seriously.. anybody else notice this?
