He was never a bad player and is the best player we have this season. If you look at the table for best performances this season you will see that SG is top. Kuyt has been better in every game and SG has been average at best. I really sickens me the way our so called supporters attack our players even whilst they are warming up. But it’s obvious that the votes come from people who just vote for their favourites and don't actually watch the games let alone go to them. But would that make a difference. SG gives the ball away repeatedly but it is just about anyone else who gets slagged off for it. Kuyt gets some stick for his first touch yet against Bolton he was almost faultless in this department and has proved a reliable outlet for Pepe in more than one game this season. Despite the family woes he had last season he was played out of position and still managed something like 12 goals and as many assists.

For me he has never been out of favour and no player in a Liverpool shirt should be slagged off during the game. Those on these boards who would have had him sold last season will be fairly silent for now but one bad performance and you'll all pipe up again. At the last home game I heard comments such as "Babel has been taking lessons from Kuyt" and "Oh no another Kuyt" to which the response was great another joint top scorer. Let’s try and get past your petty prejudices and see each performance in an honest light. I for one will watch a game two or three times if I can the first nearly always at the ground. Then I find I can make a better more accurate judgement of performances.

Don’t take it for granted that everyone thinks the way you do. Liverpool would be a lesser team without Kuyt and that was also true last season.

Kuyt is certainly reaping the benefits of playing week in week out.. Good spot to Andy too about the death of his father. Sometimes you have dig a little to find the truth.

everyone was a bit of a sh*t to SuperDirk last season, his dad died just before the season started which will have a big effect on anyone. That and everyone jumping on his back for an understandably poor start to last season can't have done much for his confidence. And he had to accomodate and support Torres last season, which to be fair, was fairly successful
