Had that been a Manchester United player, he'd have been out with a 10 game ban.
When Rafa benitez outraged about United and Sir Alex getting consideration from referees, Scolari joined him in it.

Now what do they got to say about that ?

um technically feigning injury is also within the rules since you dont get called for it. If you dont get called it makes it ok.
That said as a chelsea fan i was disgusted by that little stunt that captain caveman pulled. Chelsea should fine him and drop him for a game or two just to teach him a lesson. It makes the game and club look bad. Once they fine him they should then donate the same amount of money to some nice cause(preferably something benayoun endorses) so that at least it looks like chelsea wants to make amends.

Playing the ball to the corner flag, unlike some other forms of time wasting (e.g., feigning injuries to get medical attention, or really slow substitutions) is perfectly within the rules and seems like legitimate (if boring) tactic to employ. I can sympathize with Bosignwa's frustration, but he still deserved a red card and a suspension.

Pah, i am no Chelsea fan but I sympathise with what Bosingwa did.
I hate intentional time wasting and Guardian Football weekly touched on this too. I reckon the ref just turned a blind eye to what was initially an act of poor sportsmanship. I think Arsenal must have started this as Kanu and then Henry were brilliant at holding that ball up near the flag and running off the clock. Its frustrating to watch when you need the ball back and Bosingwa did something that was a definite foul , and at least a yellow on any other part of the pitch but I think the ref (and other refs) tend to turn a blind
eye to the foul here.
Christ, its not like he kicked him hard, it was a shove with the boot - not the decapitation some people are making it out to be. It was a foul on a fella who was asking for it.

Yossi should ask the FA to deal with this in a fair and appropriate manner. Otherwise he will report the incident to the Police citing Assault.
