Well, this sounds all great just hours before the event. But with a few days behind, what remains is the highest defeat of any team in a U21 final ever: 4 - nil. The result showed everything that English international teams are lacking: creativity on the field, good goalkeepers and discipline.
Particularly the last point had cost England a lot on critical stages. If you loose 3 men on behalf of yellow and red cards, if you give a away a three goal lead in the semifinal and if the coach can't stop himself from foul-mouthing the officials in the final, there is a lot of room for improvement.
