Another enjoyable podcast. What strikes me as strange along with some other recent posts here about the NFL training techniques is why is training in England stuck in methods of the 1930’s? I had assumed that the cash rich prem teams used their vast resources to bring modern training and coaching methods to the game which they claim is the worlds best. Well from what we are hearing it seems that the English/European game would gain by joining the digital age like the rest of us at this site!

You’re on to something Lou but separate England and Europe in your thinking. Continental training and dietary techniques have been ages ahead of the English for years. The English are now catching up thanks to Continental training and some of the things Kuper mentions in his book.
