I’m glad to hear that Rebecca Lowe was picked up by ESPN. I too thought she did a really good job whenever I saw her on Football Matters.

I like Rebecca Lowe too but somebody needs to pick up James Richardson because he’s the best host in the business. Also Shaka Hislop is terrible, he obviously doesn’t follow the game and formulates his asinine opinions on the garbage the other pundits spew. He’s basically ESPN’s version of Stan Collymore or Garth Crooks.

I’m very pleased that Ray Stubbs will be with ESPN. A great presenter with a friendly approach who really knows his stuff.

Nevin is class, would be a great pick up , an ex-pro who can actually read and be insightful.
I am not a big Stubbs fan in truth but he is a nice guy so I dont begrudge him the role – its an odd choice for ESPN to have gone with though and pairing with Lowe will be also odd….

What was this spat between Green and Saggers ???
    I like both of them.

    Hislop puts me to sleep.
Whoever above mentioned Richardson is spot on – he is genius.

Phil Brown will be looking for work in September so i hope he gets picked up so i can continue to laugh at his coats and orange face that puts Wes Brown to shame.

I am guessing Setanta USA wont be showing any of this :(

Any word yet on what else ESPNs new channel will show? Blue square premier football for example? French footie? I’m hoping yes for both.

Truth is though, in the middle of financially tough times, I probably won’t subscribe to an extra channel, and I reckon a lot of others will take the same view.

They’ve done well getting Rebecca Lowe in though.
