]]> http://www.epltalk.com/euro-2008-match-preview/2453#comment-12473 Anonymous Sun, 22 Jun 2008 00:16:12 +0000 http://www.epltalk.com/euro-2008-match-preview/2453#comment-12473 somebody please write a story about russia's great win. they played like only holland dreams of playing. they could have scored 3 more. theyve earned our respect and while biased kartik writes about his all american (american north and south) soccer leagues, (even though i think its odd that he is actually from india i think since i saw his picture and know his name is kartik krishnaiyer, but maybe he is just in denial of his origins, and he'll probably argue he's all american, but im not criticing his origins because i think india is just another country like any other that has a rich culture and must be respected just like any other culture, i am just criticing kartik because he always makes it seem he is all american. he should acknowledge his roots.) but anyway russian football has to be looked at more closely. along with russia having the youngest team in the tournament, there is a lot of talented youth coming through for them and with the influx of money put into that league by the new wealthy in the country, the russian league will soon be one of the top 10 leagues in the world, over shadowing the mexican league and argentinian. there is just too much money flowing through the league right now and you can see the rise in talent with zenit's uefa cup win and 6 russian teams next year playing uefa football. while kartik usually argues for south american futbol, he neglects the rising talent in european football. he says talent wise mexico and argentina are the best but that is something he judges and there is no fact as to talent. he can prove his agruements because they are just his opinions. he will say he has seen alot of soccer in his lifetime but beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. for him the latin futbol and soccer are preferred over any form of european football.
