everton super lamb banana Everton Goes BananasIn celebration of the city of Liverpool being Europe’s Capital of Culture, Goodison Park is the home for an unusual figurine: A lambanana!

Named the Super St Domingo Lamb Banana, the figure was erected this morning in front of the Dixie Dean statue outside Goodison Park. Part banana, part lamb, the structure is one of 119 Superlambananas on show across Liverpool.

Designed by Japanese artist Taro Chiezo, the figure is wearing a 2008/2009 replica Everton shirt and plans on being in place for the next 10 weeks.
