I have to disagree with your take on the FA website. I got tickets to the England vs. Estonia game and found it very difficult to figure out how to even buy them. They need to put in a special part for rookies or first time buyers. I got lucky and did it correctly, but I also had to sign up for EnglandFans and then log in at 4:00am CST to actually purchase the tickets. Also, I never got any word from them that I had to pick the tickets up at will call. I had to email them and ask when I would get the tickets. They actually responded pretty quickly and explained what I should expect.

I think that they should be more concerned with revamping their product on the field. Though, since they won't be going to Euro 2008, they will have a lot of time on their hands.
