Tevez is a world-class defensive striker. As soon as that position is created, I'm sure that one of the top clubs will snatch him right up.

Don't get me wrong, I like to watch him run around like a meth addict with ADD as much as the next guy- but strikers are supposed to score. Tevez's ball control and finishing skills are terrible - I really don't see how he's any better than Park - and Park usually converts his chances.

Was it a good idea to bring him to United on the loan deal? Yes, he was a sparkplug off the bench and did some good things on those rare occasions when he was in-form. Is he worth the asking price now? Absolutely not - we could buy two strikers just like him for that kind of money.

I have voiced my doubts about Berba as well - I'd like to see him turning on the ball and taking shots more often. But he is a more complete player by far - I'd take him over Tevez any day.

Cmon, Fergie, tell Tevez to take a hike and grab Benzema, Eto, Vila, or Aguero already. Hell, buy all 4 of them and we'll see who works out- we have to do something with that $130m Spanish stimulus check!

I love this article! I have been saying to my friends here in Australia that Tevez is over-rated. I, like many other football critics, cannot fault the work ethic and committment that is expressed by Tevez. The strength that he has and the way he holds off defenders to protect the ball at times is awesome. I have at times this season been in awe of the way that he can somehow get between the defender and the ball to gain back posession. But with all that said, Carlos Tevez is not at Manchester United for these skills alone. He is above all else at the club to score goals. And it is this area that has been such a dissappointment. If he can't do this then he's not even worth the 25 mil that is his initial price tag. I also love watching Berbatov take the ball and seemingly have all the time in the world to make his next move - in slow motion he seems to act. But I'm not convinced that he scored enough goals for the team this season, so how can anyone be content with the contribution of Tevez. A champion he may be - but I wish he would stop saying how dissappointed he is with the 'lack of respect' from Sir Alex, and practice proving his worth in the back of the net!

Tevez... not that good... not needed...

This must be what it is like to be a Manchester United fan. I will never understand it. If you don't want him, we'll gladly take him.
