Gerrard Rhapsody: A Night At A Southport Club

by The Gaffer on February 23, 2009 · 3 comments

It’s the best of times and the worst of times for Liverpool fans. The club has been uncharacteristically impotent in most league matches at Anfield this season. Yet Liverpool is enjoying one of their best seasons in several years.

Off the pitch, it’s been a horrible season as many of us know. Contract issues. Public arguing matches between the owners and manager. And, of course, the incident involving Steven Gerrard at a Southport club in late December 2008.

Here’s a tribute to Gerrard’s troublesome events as well as Liverpool’s 2008/2009 season, which has generated so many interesting storylines and plenty of highs and lows.

Thanks to Tokyo Toffeeman for the link.
