Get Well Soon Gaffer!

For those of who’ve been wondering why Ty (BillE Shears), Lonnie (The Scout), and myself have been the only ones writing blog posts recently, there’s a very good reason.

The Gaffer, who’s the mastermind of EPL Talk and its affiliate sits, has been in the hospital with some respiratory issues. Chris was in the hospital for a related problem during the first week of the Premiership season as well, as you all probably remember.

He will likely remain in the hospital for another couple days, though his exact release date is obviously unknown at this point.

I don’t have much information other than that, and I ask everyone to take a moment and wish the Gaffer a speedy recovery. I know I speak for Ty and Lonnie in saying we here at EPL Talk hope Chris gets better soon.

The timing of this post is uncanny. It was just yesterday afternoon that I was thinking that I had not heard from the Gaffer nor seen a post in several days. At the time I thought: “I sure hope he has not had a reoccurance of his respiratory problem” but quickly brushed it away and decided that he was just busy with life.

I’m really sorry to hear that the Gaffer is in the hospital but I know he will get well soon and be back with some kick-ass interviews for the podcast.

I’m sending good thoughts out to the Gaffer and his family. Here’s hoping for a quick and full recovery!
