They need to realize that the problems at Liverpool go deeper than a couple of Yanks or the odd dodgey player. The truth is that they are a club stuck in the past, without a firm direction or ethos. Hicks has compared the club to buying Weetabix, told Texas Rangers fans money from Liverpool could be put into Rangers and Stars teams, approached Klinsmann, admitted to approaching Klinsmann. Lied about backing Benitez in the transfer market. Liverpool was on their way to the title easily, just as they have been each of the last 17 seasons. These two Yanks who should go off and start a war as I've seen many comments say on different sites ruined the best team in world football, a team that has dominated their domestic league for the past fifteen years. Oh that's right, that was my nightmare last night! Too bad, so now the Reds fans have the Yanks to beat up on. clearly not winning the title this year is all because of Hicks and Gillet.
