So sorry I didn't find this earlier this season. I might actually pay for this - not that much but I might! :) It should be more often. Great stuff.

A mate posted me this link and I have listened to most of them. I am not a Liverpool fan but I have found the discussions and debates well informed. The Irish Guy seems to really know his football. Simon's accent and sense of humour adds an authenticity to the production. Mark Henderson, the English journalist, is a regular contributor and his command of subject is second to none.

Usually these type of pod casts deteriorate into dull sycophancy. This is radically different. It is articulate, well researched, laced with humour and insight. Football enthusiasts of all hues will be interested in the quality contributors. The comment section at the end is a must. Top podcast.

DJC

These guys know their stuff - they are better than any of those idiots on Fox. I don't agree with everything they say, but it's never obnoxious in you face I'm right and you're wrong stuff. Fox could learn a lot from these guys. Agree with Gringo that there's more than enough for any fan of the Premiership. Top marks.

Definately agree on your praise for the MPRed Podcast.

After "suffering" through a few other (apparntly dodgy!) Liverpool podcasts, it was a breath of fresh air to find the guys at MPRed.

It is a show that although is Liverpool centric, is by no means biased and that is a hard thing to do.

Just listened in, some great stuff. Episodes 11 & 12 (?) have a superb interview with Liverpool legend Phil Neal. I mean really good. Not sure I've ever heard him talk about Heysel before.

A bit forced here and there, but these guys are seriously on the ball. Brennan sounds familiar, he sounds like someone I've heard before, but I don't know where, and Davies is a man who knows his football up and down, no doubt about that.

Maybe they try too hard for laughs in the email section, but that's a small price to pay. The smaller sections are a good balance to the Panel and news and stuff. A thinking man's podcast, definitely.

All Liverpool fans should do themselves a favour, and even if you're not a Reds fan, there's more than enough for a casual listen from time to time.

Gringo in exile.
