The Gooner diss was sort of uncalled for, and and time you mention music and West Ham you MUST include the Cockney Rejects. You know Cockney, what you call West Ham supporters.

great idea, but i think you got a bit lazy on some of the entries, linking clubs to indivdiauls just because they're supporters. surely you could have linked the way a team plays to the sound of some band out there!

this entry sits below the one about premiership clubs and american cities. that one was damn alright!

Good point Fergus, but I won't lie to you, it was bloody hard coming up with this list for some of the teams. So many Premier League teams play like one another. Feel free to post suggestions if can think of better bands.

    Cheers,
    The Gaffer

I prefer insight into soccer on American television as opposed to arbitrary, forced analogies. I will maintain my RSS bookmark…

Arsenal = Radiohead. Ahead of their times, brilliant quality, yet lacking in awards. And mostly misunderstood by the masses.

Tottenham=Genisis……we are anything but cookie cutter

and Bob Marley was a fan of ours, which is much more significant that Phil Collins

But if we were going to be any band (other than Chaz and Dave) it would be Chumbawumba before they went folk, because you just have no clue what is going to happen on the next song in the album. And they are anarchists and God knows we seem invite the chaos.

Hmmmm, Chelsea with all their big bucks hardly strike me as a punk band… Funny article though. Also, Spurs should be Slayer. Because they fucking slay.

i think Apocalyptica with Chelsea now…chelsea's playing beautifully, just like Apocalyptica's loud but wonderful violins.

I dont consider Faith No More to be one hit wonders… Obviously Epic is their big hit but Easy is another big song..
