The May 7th episode of the EPL Talk Podcast features an exclusive interview with Tim Glynne-Jones of MyFootballClub.co.uk.

What is My Football Club, you may ask? And why should you care? I’ve come across several hundred soccer web sites in the past 12 months and MyFootballClub is honestly the most original and revolutionary site I’ve seen.

The concept is simple. Get 50,000 fans from around the world to chip in $70 each and then take that pooled money, buy a Football League club and allow the 50,000 members to vote on all of the major decisions such as what players should be on the pitch and who they should buy.

If football fans think they can do better than a Glenn Roeder, Sven-Goran Eriksson or Alan Pardew, here’s your chance to put your money where your mouth is.

To learn more about how MyFootballClub.co.uk works, be sure to listen to the interview, and - if you haven’t done so already - be sure to subscribe to the EPL Talk Podcast via iTunes so you don’t miss this or any future episodes. Enjoy.

Enjoyable podcast this week. Sorry I will miss out on the pizza on Sunday. I would like sausage and mushroom if anyone wants to know. Also can tt, get pizza sent to him in Tokyo or is it only open for Uk & US members.

As to the myfootball club site. How can it really work? When I visited the site I was unhappy that one of things they were planning for was if a rich American sought to buy the club. Ask ManU fans if that is a bad thing?
