    Ethan,

Fair point and good luck to him. Also just to let you know Tranmere doesn’t actually come under “the Liverpool area” as it is in Birkenhead, the other side of the River Mersey, which comes under Wirral, so you made the right choice in choosing Merseyside, which encompasses both, even if perhaps by default! ;-)

I wonder if John Barnes and the other LFC players from Hillsborough and the Daglish era would approve of their official fan club singing a song like this making light of the inncoent death of most of the Man United team.

    Check it out yourself:

I wrote a similar article on Digger Barnes. I do hope he can succeed in Tranmere if he gets the job. Soccernet reports that he will work together with Jason McAteer..double acts rarely succeed unless it’s Sweden.
For me, he will always be remembered as a Liverpool legend who wowed us Brazilian style!

Sad to see him leave Jamaica. CONCACAF always needs quality managers and he led them to three straight WC qualifying wins and through the Caribbean Cup qualifying tournament for the Gold Cup. Jamaica had failed to qualify for the last few Gold Cups. I was hoping to do an EPL Talk interview with him when Jamaica comes to Miami for the Gold Cup but should have in hindsight been aggressive when they played a friendly last month in Fort Lauderdale.
