Newcastle United have just released a statement saying that they wish for Kevin Keegan “to continue to play an instrumental role as manager of the club”. This announcement further confuses the matter of whether Keegan will be staying at St James’ Park, or not.

Very ambiguous statement I daresay we will have to be patient.
Keep thinking of the post from ‘The Grinch ‘earlier today on the ‘Soap Opera That is Newcastle’ (130) which made a lot of sense to me.
