The predictions were correct. The match was pretty dreadful to watch. To me, it was a comedy of errors. Everything from Frank Lampard giving the ball away that led to Dirk Kuyt’s goal. And, of course, Riise’s own goal.

Goals aside, both sides were guilty of so many mistakes. Not a good advertisement for English football, but we’re not really surprised.

I agree with your assessment. I think we are in for a dismal match today. Although I always have to watch, because I know the one that I don’t is going to be a 4-3 thriller.
