Drat! That’s what I get when I rush an article and have a former Swansea City manager on my brain (I support the Swans). Now fixed. Thanks for your eagle eyes Matt.

If I wasn’t going to be studying in England in the fall and able to go to a ton of Spurs matches anyway, I’d be furious at this being only in New York. What a joke.

Kevin, why would you be furious? There’s only a small gap of time between the end of the World Cup and the new Premier League season. And there’s still a good chance that Spurs and Man City will play more games while they’re here other than the New York Football Challenge.

    Cheers,

Probably leave anyone who played in the world cup at home.
But both will still field very good sides.

Please try to see if you can find out if smaller teams are coming too. Teams in the lower echilon of the EPL or lower divions clubs come to the USA as well.

Hi Jason, I’ll definitely keep an eye out for those too. If there are any Championship or Football League sides coming, I’ll post news about those over on our sister site Championship Talk at http://www.championshiptalk.com

I’ll go to one of these games and root for the RedBulls. I can’t really root for either of these teams since I hate both especially after what they did to my Chelsea this past weekend.

Why Sporting Lisbon though? They should have just had a 3rd English team and have Asian premier league cup type tourny.
