This is a good news / bad news development. It does look like NA is definitely on the cards, but there used to be about 5-6 locations rumoured for 3-4 matches. Now one is definitely tied up in Mexico, and another very likely in Houston. Neither really works for more northern United supporters.

Philly is one of the rumored cities. I read that there was something in the Philly Union’s season ticket booklet that spoke on this…

Word was the MLS All-Star game may feature Man U. Hope they take it seriously. There last US tour came into Chicago and it was a RIP-OFF!

When Real Madrid came here it was a good match and so was Everton’s trip to Chicago to play the Fire. Frankly Man U owes the US fans a real effort this time around. I may be very reluctant to buy the tickets which will be expensive.

Chicago area fans may be interested in the recently announced Sister Cities tournament hosted by the Fire May 18 through 22. It could be a much better value.http://www.chicago-fire.com/news/2010/04/fire-announce-sister-cities-tournament

Scholesy is doing the camp in early June, so unlikely to be linked to a tour!

KC, MO is reporting a match at Arrowhead Stadium. This via MLS team KC Wizards owner Twitter message. KC? An odd spot but Mancs traveling will love the old pubs in the Westport District! Players will hate the pitch (NFL field). Tour will work b/c Neville, Giggs, Scholes will tour due to not on international duty, plus Hargreaves and the youngsters ‘ole Kiko and Obertan will come along. Not a wise move for the Glazers…the green and gold movement will gain home soil momentum for Glazers Out.
