Manchester United’s web site received over 5.4 million unique visitors in May, 2008, which is a record for the site. The website has been managed by IMG Media since 1998 and has trebled the amount of traffic on its site every two years. The figures were boosted by the launch of Chinese, Japanese and Korean versions of the website.
