Arthur, we get your point but you have to agree that United losing these two past weekends were some of the biggest stories happening in the Prem. Not the only stories, no. But big stories regardless. You can take a look at the tag cloud in the right sidebar to see how often we talk about the different teams. The Big Four are featured most often, but they’re not the only teams we focus on. When we did mention Fulham (see http://www.epltalk.com/fulham-continue-to-progress-under-hodgson/4663), there wasn’t as much interest from the readers.

    Cheers,
    The Gaffer

Arthur, although I appreciate other Gooners contributing on this site, I think you’re going a little far with this whole “Utd fan blog” thing, and you’re giving Arsenal fans a little bit of a bad name on this site. Yes, there have been several Man Utd posts recently, but if you really don’t like them, you really don’t need to read them.
At the moment, Utd are in the spotlight. Earlier in the season it was Chelsea for a little while with the whole Scolari sacking, Liverpool giving up it’s lead, Aston Villa taking a Champions League spot, etc.
All I’m saying is, please try to not post pointless comments when they aren’t needed, and post comments that are thought out and reasonable.

I think what Arthur is trying to get at not-so-eloquently, is that we understand that United losing was a big deal but more importantly the fact that Fulham and Liverpool won is also an equally big deal. Instead of blogging about their loss, blog about the victories.

Arsenal won on the weekend continuing a run of good form and it appears that Redknapp has managed to get Tottenham back on somewhat stable ground. The relegation zone is just as interesting as the fight for the title. We should hear about those as well.

I get your point Dano. The discrepancy in coverage stems from the fact that Man U dropping points two weeks in a row is fairly unusual. Also, perhaps there is a cynical POV. In the highest level of the game, results are always seemingly determined by mistakes and failures. In this case, it’s Man U. A few weeks ago it was Liverpool and Arsenal. Even earlier in the season, it was Spurs in turmoil. As much as I enjoyed Fulham’s performance, and Hull’s ascendancy in the beginning of the season, I also know who butters the league’s bread. Having said that, we can be narrow in our vision as it’s always the same names popping up. All the more reason why it’s a big deal when the big guns stumble.

    Thanks for the comments,
    Brian
