Good arcticle. Euro 96 brings back great memories. Watching England beat Scotland while on holiday in Scotland was fantastic. We played some really good football that tournament and came within a whisker of beating Germany.

Damir, you are a numpty. The beautiful game is for everyone, and everyone has their own views and opinions.

The author of this article has listed his favorite games, as is his right. I too have my own favorites, but this is a well put together article that made for a great read and brought back some fantastic memories.

Although England are not in the finals, i am still looking forward to fantastic footy this summer.

Ah the summer of 96! I remember it like it was yesterday. That Holland game was amazing. Beating the Jocks in the game before was brilliant too. Lucky to be fair against Spain and i still expect Gazza to score as he slides in at the back post!

Look forward to seeing the Euro 2004 final as your favourite match. Surely nothing can beat seeing Ronaldo cry like that?

Well Damir quite frankly if you do not want to hear these things dont read the damn article!!! The reason football is so popular is because everyone has their own opinion and you guarantee their will be someone to disagree. This in turn hightens the excitement and drama in the game both in the pub and on the terraces. Personally i find it quite entertaining to hear personal accounts as my favourite games are totally different and it is interesting to see what other people memorable, interesting and entertaining.

Although the exception to the rule is reading comments from a mindless, petty individual like yourself. There was no need for the comment you posted, in fact the only thing you have achieved is making yourself look both immature and stupid.

Enjoy the European Championships and feel free to post your views. Oh wait a minute 'i dont think anyone really cares what your views are'.
