everton away shirt New 07/08 Everton Away Shirt Revealed
Everton has released its new away shirt for the 2007/2008 season and, for once, the design is simple, understated and classic compared with the other audacious new away shirts from Premier League clubs such as Chelsea, Reading, Spurs and Newcastle United.

Everton’s away shirt, like their home kit, is manufactured by Umbro and will be launched next week on July 12.

For me, it’s hard not to like the new away shirt design. White is pretty harmless, but it’s pretty ironic that Everton decided to adopt the same away color shirt as their cross-town rivals Liverpool.

We have always had a white away kit, before Liverpool were even formed, you idiot.

And it’s not ironic! You Yanks always seem to get coincidence and irony mixed up.

My apologies. In my mind, I still picture Everton away shirts as yellow, but I guess my mind was thinking back to the late 90s.

Cheers,

What a novel concept! An away kit that is simple, tasteful, and wearable in public. Hopefully, the rest of the Prem will catch on.
