Just this past weekend, EPL Talk leaked a photograph of what we believe is the new Sunderland away shirt for the 2008/2009 season. Now, thanks to our friends at Football Shirts, we can see what the new Sunderland home shirt will look like.
Modeled by Kenwyne Jones, the new Sunderland shirt from Umbro features a similar design to the current one. With slight modifications, such as the streak marks near the shoulder and the addition of black to the v-neck, the design — I believe — is far superior to the current one.

A very minor difference…I wonder how many fans will bother buying the “new” kit.
