I’m thinking Romania too. The only hope Italy and France have is that the Dutch second-stringers really want to impress van Basten and we get a couple of games with three teams desperate for a win.

the Guardian journos have been terribly unfair to Rumania, i think. certainly the lustiest anthem-singers in the competition. will be rooting for them today and would frankly like their odds against Spain.
