Being a Chelsea fan, i clearly agree that Drogba is the player of the week, he is a monster!!

Kevin Phillips. Drogba was great, but Chelsea would have brushed Arsenal aside with or with out him. Birmingham City look a little lost until Kevin Phillips came on. The old man still has it.

“Beautiful Passing Gnomes,” brilliant. Should be the new alternate nickname for the club.

I would have to agree with this.

And the worst player of the week has got to be Thomas Vermaelen. Drogba’s goals were great but he was surely helped by Thomas Vermaelen. He was horrible.

George Boateng, anyone who saw the entire game between Hull City and Manchester City could see how class he was on Saturday. I might be biased being a Hull fan but he made Gareth Barry and De Jong look ordinary in comparison and then he went capped it off with a super goal.

Kevin Phillips cameo in in the Birmingham game was quality as well and he showed he hasnt lost it.

Drogba was amazing but I would have to vote for Petr Cech. He played his best game that day.
