Arsenal only scored 1 goal in their last 5 matches. It is a disappointing performance for one of the best football club in the world. If they are failed to play in the UEFA Champion League next season, I think it would be a big lesson for Arsene Wenger just like what had happened to AC Milan and Bayern Munich!!!

“Just one more thing before I go. Has anyone noticed how many clubs are now within three points of the drop?”

Yes, which is why I’m not worried yet about us getting relegated. We don’t have to be good to stay up. We just have to be better than 3 of the 10 or so teams that are withing sniffing distance of relegation. I think we will avoid the drop, but it sure makes for an interesting last 12 games.

As Rafa heads towards his 100th Liverpool win, do you reckon that any amount of continental success can make up for another five years without a league title under Benitez?

Back in the day, Curbishley, McLaren, O’Neill and Strachan were all linked to the Liverpool hot seat – would they have done any better?

I would love to know your thoughts on my blog, View from the Terraces.

    Cheers, Charlie
