Was actually a fun game to watch, and great to see a packed stadium. I am looking forward to tomorrow's Inter v Chelsea game at the Rose Bowl, I have tickets and it will be interesting to see what attendance it draws on a weeknight (I'm taking the next day off work :-) ). Thank God it is a late game (8PM local), the heat here in LA has been crazy, and will still likely be up around 85-90F at game time.

Yes, nothing like some chumps twitter page, which cites no references, to base a rumour on. This just in: Belgian newspapers are reporting that Fernando Torres fought with his teammates over what styling products to use in his hair (Stevie Me thinks he should get highlights).

Yeah...It was a little excessive as far as gimmicky things, however, it was extremely exciting to see that many people out for a football game...last time Chelsea was here against Celtic they had half of yesterday's draw, so gimmicky or not I don't really care because the bottom line is we need football to grow here in the states if we ever want to see the MLS be a legit league, with that said...it was obvious Chelsea were the better team, their defense was far superior to that of the Sounders...every passing lane, shooting lane, and ball in the air was covered by a Chelsea player, we were reduced to simply crossing over and over which led to nothing. Just watching Lampard alone one touch the ball was incredible the accuracy by which he executed his passes was quite impressive...it was amazing to watch such a disciplined team play, hopefully it taught our boys a thing or two. Also anyone else notice the dead grass that caused the boys to slip up like crazy...way to drop sod down only to let it die and cause a bunch of slips...great game over all, can't wait to see Barca in a couple weeks!

Great support in Seattle, and Chelsea they where their old twatty self. I think they may struggle this season, make that I hope they struggle this year. And from reading up on the JT story seems what he really wants is a big olde hug. He just wants to be loved, is that so wrong? I hate that man so much. Let him fuck off to Milan with fat boy...

I can't wait for 2010 when I finally get a team in the US to support. The Philadelphia Union!!! Would love to see CFC play in Chester, PA. Makes Blackpool look like Monoco.
