I agree with the previous posting that FSC has been unfortunate due to the scheduling of the matches. Setanta gets the 7:45am ET kickoff on Saturday, which is typically one of the matches of the weekend involving a big team (not always).

Setanta then has first choice of the 10am ET match, with FSC left to pick a different 10am ET match.

These are the two timeslots where Setanta is winning out over FSC. Sure many of us would love to have Fox carry those matches, too, but between FSC & Setanta together, we're able to watch more Premiership matches than ever before. And FSC is showing more live Premiership football this season than last.

Cheers,
The Gaffer

FSC is a total disaster. There's the Report(Michelle Lissel is gone, though-she did a great job), Fox Football Fone-In, Dream Team, Sky Sports News that I try to watch on a regular basis. But in terms of coverage of the big games, the channel is a joke. for all the Liverpool fans out there, this coming Saturday is the first Liverpool game this season on FSC!!! God, FSC is simply terrible!

The original poster was right: FSC has become a joke. It gets about one out of every four big EPL matches per week, with the rest going to Setanta. At least in past years when games were on pay-per-view, FSC would show them later in the following week. Now it shows nothing but women's college soccer, MLS and FC Fox. If I wanted my TV to be a sleeping aid, FSC would be it. It's just hard to believe that a channel that three years ago showed the cream of the EPL and the Bundesliga, Ligue 1, the SPL, the Brazilian League and the Argentine League has been reduced to showing college soccer and the A-League during prime time. FSC is swirling down the toilet quickly.

Certainly FSC lost a couple big games this season, but I think just lately they have been getting the short end of the stick because of premier league/sky scheduling. October was a pretty bad month for FSC, but coming up you have:

1 Arsenal
2 Man United
2 Liverpool
1 Chelsea

Plus Arsenal vs. Liverpool

So it is getting somewhat better. But FSC also has more games then anywhere else, but usually the thrilling clashes of Man City and Charlton.

Gaffer, just a random note: I sent a comment to the Fox Soccer Channel through their web site.
I told them that there are 3 big games in Europe this weekend: Werder Bayern(top 2 in Germany), Real-Barca(El classico), and, of course, Manchester United-L'pool. And FSC is showing 0 (ZERO) games out of those 3. Way to go. FSC has been really successful at becoming the irrelevant soccer channel in America. If you want to watch the big games, you need Setanta/Gol TV. If you want to watch women's college soccer-FSC is your choice. I understand FSC's efforts at promoting the domestic players and the game within the United States, and I admire that. But it comes at a price. FSC is becoming more like MTV, which hasn't been showing relevant music for years now.
I mean, between Everton-Sheffield United(no offense to these 2 teams, Everton looks solid yet again this year) and Cagliari-Torino, it shows you the complete failure of FSC to get the rights and broadcast the games that matter today. Hey-Setanta and GOL TV is the way to go if you want to watch football in this country. OK, I'll give FSC some credit for showing Reading-Arsenal, but that's about it. Bottom line-the channel has become a joke!
