    Good article, well written.

Keep in mind though the reason United did attack like this was last season is because they thought they had nothing to lose.

It’s unlikely you will see United playing with that ferocious attacking style again this season with a key defender and midfielder missing.

It’s intelligent for United to play defensively with a handicapped defense and midfield but I have no doubt with Brown and Hargreaves back next year United will return to the sheer domination they exercised last year.

“Mr. Webb generously awarding united a penalty.” Hmm…let’s try: Mr. Webb, Sir’s “favourite” referee, from 35 yds out and without hesitation awards a penalty to Utd despite the keeper getting the ball. Clearly the crowd and the situation, and not the actual play, guided Webb’s decision. Sad coming from a top ref. Time for technology on such calls. It’s an insult to the game and the supporters to have someone flat out get such a monumental and pivotal call wrong and have to live with it.

Old Trafford loud? They were outsung by the Gooners there this week! I only ever hear them cheer when a goal is scored. The rest of the game is almost silence.
