    This is why I think the Premiership is still not the best league in the world in terms of quality. Yes, the big four has done well in Europe lately and without a doubt will be top teams in any league but the fact that Arsenal can have a wretched season and still comfortably finish 4th says a lot about the Premiership’s soft underbelly, teams 5-10. 20 years ago, 10 odd teams would be considered legitimate contenders (some darkhorses) for the title. Now you wouldn’t even fancy them to finish in the top four. Hopefully, Spurs, Everton, Villa will continue to improve and Forest & Leeds can make their way back to the top flight, then we’ll have a real competition.
