Erm yeah gotta agree with Brooks.

Sorry no offense, but this seems more like I list of “blogs that I read’ rather than “Top 10 bloggers” around. I suggest you expand your horizons just a tiny bit. For instance you quoted Daryl Grove from The Offside but omitted Chris & Laurie, who in terms of the criteria you used (” writing style, entertainment”, etc.) are far more superior and provide far better entertainment value (and I mean no offense to Daryl). So if you’re going to take the general manager in each of your examples (same way you did with Soccerlens) what’s the point of calling the article “Top 10 BLOGGERS”?

This post smells like a huuuuuuuuuge (poorly done) link-bait to me, and the worst part is that it’s working.

Hey Chris – thanks for including me in the list.

To be fair, these days I’m more of an editor than a blogger. Of course, if this was about top 10 editors, then I would be #1 :)

But that’s trivial – thanks again.

Jake – though I love Chris and Laurie’s work on theOffside, Daryls dry as sin humor and insight keeps me reading on a daily basis. If you are missing this, its going over your head. Believe me.

    Example?

    http://www.theoffside.com/world-football/kevin-garnett-explodes-the-if-only-all-american-athletes-played-soccer-myth.html

He gets his point across and keeps it funny without having to beat you over the head. And that is the style that keeps me coming back. Get it? Good.

Not bad Gaffer – but where is Goff?
