A photograph has been leaked of the new Tottenham Hotspur home football strip for the 2010-11 season.
Back in February, we shared a picture of what we believed was the new Spurs home shirt for 2010-2011 season and it turns out that was a legitimate picture. You can see the Spurs players (pictured above) in a photo shoot at White Hart Lane, presumably modeling the shirts for upcoming marketing and promotional activities.
The new Spurs shirt is designed and manufactured by Puma and is a retro-styled shirt that reminds me a little of the Le Coq Sportif shirts that Tottenham used to wear in the late 70s and early 80s.
What do you think of the new shirt? Love it or hate it? Share your opinion in the comments section below.

I like the kit would love Holsten to be our sponsor. Now that would be nostalgic and fit into the retro look
This picture is subject to a non disclosure agreement and you’ll be hearing from our legal people in due course.
more reminiscent of the Admiral kit from the late 70s.
How did you get this picture any way? We have TOP MEN defending this sort of material! We will now have to change the shirt to ensure it’s a big suprise for all the real tottenham hotspur fans.
Please. Who but those involved with the sale of the shirt would “leak it to the public.” I love this site and I am willing to ignore the silly fascination with team strips, but let’s not pretend that there are any scoops involved in indulging the wishes of marketeers.
its the training shirt apparently.
The proper kit is not finalised because we have no sponsor yet!
I’d have thought that the real Daniel Levy might be able to spell surprise….
What does not having a sponsor have to do with the shirt design being finalized.
I’m with Ossie’s Dream. First time I saw it, I thought of England’s ’82 WC kits. An Admiral effort.
Don’t like the lack of symmetry in the “shoulder flashing”.
Ossie and Bishopville, you’re both right and I stand corrected. They’re very reminiscent of the Admiral kits, not Le Coq Sportif. Nice kits in my opinion.
Cheers,
The Gaffer
dlevy you could be anyone. this site is perfect and is around 98% accurate with picture of next seasons kits. if you didn’t want them being exposed, (this is supposing you really are the thfc chairman) you should not have shown them off in a public place, such a white hart lane. stop bitching and let the rest of us get on with our lives.
by the way tottenham fans:
congrats. liverpool we are not good enough get rid of rafa
thank you
will definately queue up all night for this one especially if we get the presumed sponsor “Zurich blue logo”
I work for a sports shop who deals directly with puma and they have said it is released Mid July but no confirmed date as yet
i loved it ! =P
I LOVE the retro look of it – glad to hear that ugly RED mansion logo will be a thing of the past…
As to the asymetrical thing… hmm hmm hmmm – well I suppose an element of bad taste is traditional… but Marketing bods… consider that next season is your big chance to sell twice / three times as many shirts as last seasons “girl guide” strip…
So: whatever you do, Logo in blue, please!
And generally, lets go for something that actually looks ok as casual wear(not so skin tight, proper weight of fabric, save gaudy colours an patterns for the away kit) – and LETS TAKE BACK THE STREETS OF LONDON FROM THOSE PISSANT BANDWAGON JUMPIN ARSE KISSIN GOONAZ!
dlevy what a twat, as if people really believe you are the real thing!
Yeah, shaddup dlevy ya mug, enuff love, Harry
It is in fact the training kit, but also the home kit as was last seasons training kits and home away third shirts. our new sponsor is someone or something called autonomy. cheers
Got to the end of these comments and Chris had beaten me to the punch line. Everything he has said is correct and the league kit will be sponsored by autonomy at the price of about 20m. There is not yet a sponsor for the cup kit. As you may have heard Tottenham will be having two sponsors this year in the hope, I suppose, of doubling their profits. One for the league and one for cup games.
Kit looks horrible although it does look like more likely to be their training kit :/
