Fox Soccer Channel today announced it has renewed live and exclusive English-language telecast rights to the deciding rounds of the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup through the 2008/2009 season. Live and exclusive Spanish-language coverage will be provided by sister network Fox Sports en Español.

The networks’ exclusive UEFA Cup coverage will include six quarterfinal matches, with the home and away legs taking place on Thursday, April 5 and Thursday, April 12, respectively; four semifinal matches (home leg: April 26, away leg: May 3); and the UEFA Cup Final on Wednesday, May 16 from Glasgow, Scotland. The UEFA Super Cup, taking place at Monaco’s Stade Louis II, will air on Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Sports en Español in August of 2007. A complete telecast schedule will be announced at a later date.
Wow, Fox Soccer Channel is still hanging in there. That's good news as one can safely guess that one-two English teams will make it to the 1/4 finals.
