Good idea, deduct 10 points give 5 to Newcastle and 5 to Boro, it will keep them up and we will still finish above them, geordies cant take defeat, and what about my 8 yr old daughter who was spat at in Sunderland town centre and called a Mackem slag(shes 8 for gods sake) By the way how many times have you smashed up the Bigg market geordies(your own crap city). Barton is a thug and gets no sympathy from me. He deserves stick everywhere he goes. As for fans running on the pitch… yes pull them off, yes arrest them if needs be, but deduct points? There are many worse offenses. As for the fighting, it was minimal, and happens at every football ground. Remember this was a derby game and emotions run high. It takes two to fight. There should have been more police and a larger segregation. Sunderland fans are normally well behaved and are generally speaking a credit to the Premier League.

My first visit to the Stadium of Sh**e and my last. The person behind me got punched in the head before the game and we were protected by a line of police who did nothing. This was a long time before kick off. We spoke to fans who arrived having run a gauntlet ogf hate from the dirty mackems. After the game we had kids crying in fear. Thought I hated Mackems before but now I really hate them. Wont go there again.
