Brad, my apologies. You’re correct. In my excitement regarding the release of this game, I got the dates mixed up. The correct dates have been updated in the story.

      Cheers,
      The Gaffer

Just want to let you know that the first sentence still says that this is airing tonight, rather than next week.

I’m looking forward to this though, thanks for bringing it up!

Brazil are going out, talk about being over-rated. silva (dumped by arsenal, too old) elano, (dumped by man city, too crap) robinho, (dumped by man city for being crap) Kaka, over-rated. But more than this, no fear of this team by any other nation. Even North Korea are giving them a game.

No way this team is going to win this world cup

I was thinking about Escobar yesterday as the Danish defender was smiling after his “own” goal. We all talk about football being larger than life and death but no player should loose his life over a mistake (including Mark Green.) Escobar’s death marked a sorry and pre-mature end of a golden era of Colombian football. A damn shame.

I meant Rob Green, Mark is the little voice in my head….

We always see own goals in the games and I still remember that goal but nothing in a game should be responsible for person’s death. It was a very sad event.

Very much looking forward to this. The 30 for 30 series has overall been very good with what has been released thus far. “No Crossover: The Trial of Allen Iverson” and “Winning Time: Reggie Miller and the NY Knicks” in particular are must-sees.

    Hey Gaffer,

Can you update the title of this post and the first sentence? It is a bit confusing.

The ESPN 30 for 30 Documentaries are some of the best sports documentaries ever made. All of them have been very well done and I expect this one to be also. I am looking forward to watching.
