Arsenal v Fulham (Live Fox Soccer Channel). Historically this fixture doesn’t exactly scream must watch TV…because Fulham have yet to beat Arsenal away. Add the fact in those 21 top flight matches they have allowed 55, one would expect Arsenal to get one. However with Arsenal’s inability to score in the league of late, this one will not be pretty viewing. I do see Arsenal getting the three points. Arsenal 1 Fulham 0
Chelsea v Wigan Athletic (Live Setanta Xtra. On delay Setanta Sports 5:00 pm). Here’s another historical fixture that is just simply too one sided. Wigan have never beaten Chelsea, and the Hiddink effect has taken over Chelsea (though I haven’t been all that impressed with their late performances in matches). I do think Wigan will keep this close, but expect Chelsea to prevail. Chelsea 2 Wigan 1
Middlesbrough v Liverpool (Live Setanta Sports). If there is any time for Liverpool to get off the seven year snide at the Riverside where they haven’t taken all three points, this fixture is it. Two of the last three seasons this fixture has resulted in a nil draw. Fernando Torres is a doubt, but I don’t think that matters much. Regardless of who plays for Liverpool one of two things will happen…either another nil draw, or Liverpool will win this late. I think Liverpool wins late. Middlesbrough 0 Liverpool 1.

Hull City v Blackburn Rovers (Live Setanta Xtra. On delay Setanta Sports 5:00 pm). I don’t know who needs this match more, Hull City or Blackburn? Hull need to find three points from somewhere while Sam Allardyce would like to get past their these last few fixtures and get back on track. Usually when we see this only one thing happens, draw. West Ham United v Manchester City (Live Setanta Sports). Manchester City advanced in the UEFA Cup while West Ham were humiliated on the road in the FA Cup. Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur (Live Setanta Sports). I’m going to be very curious to see what starting eleven we see out of Manchester United. Tottenham are looking to play the same eleven that got three points against Hull City on Monday. Tottenham are looking to repeat and keep the League Cup, but Manchester United have just too much class. I do expect it to be a tense one though. Manchester United 2 Tottenham Hotspur 1
From the starting 11 that played Hull City, Spurs will be without at least Cudicini, Palacios, and Keane (all cup-tied). With Campbell unavailable as well – it’s pretty unclear if Harry will go 4-5-1 with Bent or Pav or 4-4-2 with both of them up top.
