A few weeks ago I introduced you to The Group Of Death via a video showing a special package from ESPN that was delivered to my doorstep. But now, in homage to Spinal Tap and for a little bit of fun on a Friday, we have a video of The Group Of Death rock band playing the first song off their EP entitled “Welcome To The Group Of Death” (see above).
Who said ESPN doesn’t like to have a laugh and isn’t excited about marketing World Cup 2010?

Good Stuff. Group A should get more attention as a group of death, well, a group of near-death. on paper, South Africa is a weak team, but they are the hosts and hosts traditionally do well. Mexico is much-improved since Sven was sent packing to Notts County. Raymond Domench is a buffoon, but the French team remains absolutely loaded with talent. Uruguay is a very decent team as well.
