My favorite World Cup memory was the famous 5-1 England/Germany World Cup Qualifier in September of 01. I had only gotten into futbol a year or so before this game. Me and my mate Rocky went to Spectadium in Troy Michigan for the game and the place was just nuclear. There was both England and German fans singing and drinking with the place totally packed. I seem to remember Germany going up and then England just pouring on the goals. It was one of those seminal moments for me as after that game I knew I was hooked to this beautiful game that we all love!

England – Greece 2-2, the last gasp David Beckham free kick almost took down the whole bar … and i think germany drew their game to help secure England’s place in the WC quals
